In this Scripted Play Performance class, students will experience the full journey of bringing a story from page to stage.
After receiving a script tailored to the class size—typically centered on themes of friendship and inclusion—each student will be assigned a role and guided in exploring their character’s voice, motivations, and personality. As they rehearse their lines and blocking, students will also use their creativity to help design simple set pieces and props that support the world of the play. By the end of the session, the class will proudly present their completed production, showcasing their teamwork, imagination, and growing performance skills.
