Fundraising is hard. Finding trainings that are applicable in the real world and figuring out how to use them without unlimited staff and budget is even harder. So we set out to create a nonprofit conference that empowers those of us who fight “other duties as assigned” in order to do the one thing we love: telling stories and building relationships with donors.

 

Big Issues Deserve a Big Stage

In March of 2020, the world turned on it’s collective head – and COVID-19 threw nonprofits for a loop. Uncertainty in uncharted territory had fundraising leaders needing help, direction, motivation and the tools to get through this global pandemic.

This year we have a speaker lineup addressing racial inequity, the role of nonprofits in government, rethinking the purpose giving days, fighting for higher income at organizations, community centric fundraising, and more! 

Not only that, but we’re excited to feature tons of local and regional musicians, food trucks, vendors, adult beverages, and a learning environment for nonprofit and fundraising topics you’ve never experienced before.

 

In Person Festival Feel. We’ve Got This

Yes, this pandemic is still a thing. But you know what? Our money says we’re gonna be well on our way out of the COVID darkness by July. So we’re gonna have an IN PERSON event! Outside, in case we still need to physically distance and at a MASSIVE venue to give us space. 

Instead of boring table and chairs arranged in a classroom style setting – we’re encouraging everyone to BYOLCOB – Bring Your Own Lawn Chair Or Blanket. We’ll provide the sunscreen, education and entertainment – you soak in Vitamin D, fresh air and fresher tunes.

Our inaugural event was a smashing success from the diversity of topics, fantastic speakers, wonderful food, inviting atmosphere and attending to the little details. Our goal was to put on an event for nonprofit leaders that defied the norms of your typical conference – and it was a blast.

But we’re just getting warmed up. And in a time of crisis, we think that these messages and ideas need to be heard sooner than later to help get nonprofits of all size through these bizarre times!

We’re excited to bring you an event that leaves you a better nonprofit fundraising, board member or executive. And have a heck of a lot of fun doing it.
