In this energetic Theatre Games and Improv class, students dive into a wide variety of playful acting exercises that spark creativity, confidence, and quick thinking.
Each week, they’ll learn classic theatre games—many of which they can excitedly bring home to share with family and friends—as well as famous improv activities that teach the foundations of saying “yes, and…,” building characters, and creating stories on the spot. Along the way, the class may watch short clips of well-known comedic improv to see the techniques in action and inspire their own performances. With a focus on listening skills, collaboration, spontaneity, and lots of laughter, this class helps young performers develop strong teamwork and imaginative storytelling skills.
