This immersive theater design and tech camp gives middle schoolers a behind-the-scenes look at how a show comes to life on stage. Campers will explore key technical theater skills such as set and prop design, basic lighting and sound, costumes, and stage management while learning how each element supports storytelling.
Working as a collaborative design team, students will partner with the Comedy Camp to help plan and build a polished end-of-week showcase that highlights both groups’ creativity.
From brainstorming concepts to seeing their work in action during the final performance, campers will gain hands-on experience, teamwork skills, and a deeper appreciation for the magic that happens offstage.
